Subaru has whet the appetite of hot hatch fans with this annoyingly restricted teaser shot of a new collaboration with Cosworth: the new Impreza STI wearing a Cossie badge.The company calls it 'a special one-off project', but the project appears to shun Prodrive who have fettled many of the go-faster official Subaru Imprezas of the past decade.Subaru Impreza STI Cosworth: what else do we know?Very little. Only a short marketing blurb was issued today, giving away no further facts. Here's what they told us:'Two of the biggest names in automotive performance have come together to work on a special one-off project, and the result promises to be truly staggering. Subaru UK and Cosworth have enhanced the performance, handling and styling of the acclaimed Impreza STI, creating a car that will raise the bar for all-wheel-drive, high-performance motoring.
Aston Martin DBS Ultimate Edition planned
The Aston Martin DBS is to be refreshed at the end of 2012 and AML look set to produce a run-out model – the DBS Ultimate Edition. There’s no doubt that Aston Martin likes a variation on a theme, and has a real penchant for a limited edition car whenever a suitable occasion can be found. So a run-out model for the current DBS is a given.
After launching a new Giulietta to celebrate its 100th anniversary, Alfa Romeo will continue the party June 26-27 with a huge rally for owners of its vehicles. The global gathering will be held in Alfa's hometown, Milan, Italy. More than 3,000 participants are expected to show up, and the festivities will include a rally through downtown Milan (filmed by helicopter), concerts and the presentation of a sculpture.
